À l’occasion du Becobra Network Event du 23 juin 2026, nous avons réuni les principaux acteurs du secteur belge de l’assurance, aux côtés de représentants des institutions publiques, du monde de l’entreprise et d’autres stakeholders essentiels.
Dans son discours d’ouverture, notre président, Pedro Matthynssens, a abordé les évolutions qui façonnent aujourd’hui le paysage de l’assurance, les défis auxquels est confronté le courtage en particulier, ainsi que l’importance durable d’un secteur fort et professionnel.
L’un des moments forts de la soirée fut la conférence du général-major Linotte, Head of Strategy de la Défense belge. Il a offert un regard privilégié sur les coulisses de la Défense et a présenté son organisation, les défis auxquels elle est confrontée, ainsi que ses choix stratégiques et ses priorités dans un contexte géopolitique en pleine évolution.
All in all, the level of interest of investors shows that the insurance industry is the most beautiful industry in the world, and we should count our lucky stars to be in the midst of this action.

As a professional association, Becobra represents the major insurance brokers in Belgium and helps steer the development of the profession. Our mission is clear: defend the interests of brokers and, in doing so, strengthen the quality and professionalism of the sector. For me, Becobra’s strength lies not in defending what exists but in putting forward what is needed to stay relevant, and always one step ahead.
