While the Q&amp;A provides useful guidance, important interpretation questions remain, in particular regarding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the treatment of financial versus non-financial groups,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the potential application of consolidation approaches,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and the practical determination of the entities falling within DORA scope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the interpretation ultimately retained by supervisory authorities, the scope of intermediaries subject to DORA requirements may in practice prove broader than initially expected by certain market participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Becobra is currently following up on these developments and further analysing the potential implications together with the FSMA and relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, Becobra has updated its note &#8216;Key insights DORA&#8217;, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recent EIOPA Q&amp;A developments,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>clarification regarding group structures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>updates on critical ICT third-party providers (CTPPs),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and recent supervisory focus areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The updated note is available to members via the Becobra platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Becobra would like to draw members\u2019 attention to recent developments regarding the interpretation of the scope of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), following the publication of EIOPA Q&amp;A 3100 concerning group structures and the calculation of DORA thresholds.
